Samara, April 23, 2026

Volgaburmash JSC has successfully participated in the INNOPROM Central Asia 2026 international exhibition, held from April 20 to 22 with the support of the Samara Region Ministry of Industry and Trade.
The event drew significant international attention, bringing together over 10 000 professionals from 35 countries, including Uzbekistan, Russia, Kazakhstan, China, Germany, Turkey, and others. This broad participation underscores the growing importance of Central Asia as a hub for industrial collaboration.
During the exhibition, Volgaburmash specialists held a series of productive business meetings with representatives from key enterprises in Uzbekistan’s fuel and energy sector.
Key outcomes and strategic priorities for Uzbekistan:

Production localization. The company explored opportunities to establish local manufacturing of roller cone drill bits in Uzbekistan — including potential joint ventures with local partners. This move could help reduce lead times and better serve regional customers.
Raw material sourcing. Discussions focused on securing tungsten carbide supplies from Uzbekistan for use in Volgaburmash’s production processes. Developing a reliable local supply chain could enhance operational efficiency and support long‑term growth.
Customer base expansion. Volgaburmash plans to present its products to senior management at Uzbekistan’s leading mining and metallurgical enterprises, including Almalyk and Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combinates. These presentations aim to demonstrate how the company’s drilling solutions meet the specific needs of large‑scale mining operations.
Partnership development. The company established new contacts with potential partners, including representatives from state‑owned enterprises and industry agencies in Uzbekistan. These connections lay the groundwork for future collaboration on technology transfer and joint projects.
Strategic significance
Participation in INNOPROM Central Asia 2026 marks a key step in Volgaburmash JSC’s international growth strategy. By strengthening ties across Central Asia, exploring new avenues for technological cooperation, and expanding its supply geography, the company aims to solidify its position in the global drilling equipment market.
The strong interest from international partners and the agreements reached during the event set a solid foundation for long‑term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
