VOLGABURMASH Company became a standholder of the 2nd International Trade Show “Oil. Gas. Chemistry”, which was held in Samara, October, 15-17, 2008. New R598 Design Bits Show Record Performance
New AUM-LSP42X R598 design bits with stabilizing pad on the leg were run at the field of Lukoil-AIK, JSC, Kogalym. The bit drilled 2933 m with bit durability of 92 hrs and ROP of 32 m/h.

Volgaburmash, JSC leading specialists gained certificates after successful completion of a Drops Drilling Stimulator usage training course held by Drops specialists. Drops Simulator helps with choosing drill bits, hoisting depth and drilling parameters interval by interval in order to get maximum efficiency and bit durability with minimum costs.

Volgaburmash Bit Was Used in Nigeria
Drilling bit 406,4 FD-268SM-A73 (IADC code: S224) was used on Nigerian fields. Drilling was performed in upper intervals, where only bits produced by foreign manufacturers had been previously used.
Volgaburmash PDC bit showed excellent results on Surgutneftegaz field
295,3 FD 257Ì-A27Ì bit was used on Surgutneftegaz Fedorovskoye field. This is a new generation bit that was designed considering West Siberian drilling contractors’ recommendations specifically for the fields of this region.
